The Basket Braid

Today, I will be teaching you the Basket Braid. It is very different from a regular braid, but just as easy!

To begin, divide your hair that you're working with into four equal pieces. Take the strand all the way to the left, over the next strand, under the next strand, then over and under the strand all the way to the right. The strand that was origanially on the left, should now be on the right. Now you take that strand under, over, then under. And repeat. Keep in mind the braid won't be as long as a regular braid, because you will eventually run out of that one strand. It is just like you're weaving a basket!
That's all to it!

If you want to make it into a Lace Braid (a French Braid only adding in pieces from the front side), then you do one stitch on the top of your head (over under over, under over under), then add in a piece of hair by your hairline. Do a stitch, add in hair, and repeat.
