Baby Shower

A few days ago was the baby shower I threw for my sister, that I've been planning ever since she found out she was pregnant.

I found this invitation template from Zazzle.com
It is called Ahoy! Nautical Baby Shower Invitation.

The shower had many fun games like The Baby Face Activity, A-Z Baby Name Game,
Name Scramble, Scratch and Wins, and Tummy Tape.

For the Baby Face Activity, I printed out head shots of my sister and her husband
(the mom and dad to be) and the same number of blank papers. Then, the guests cut out their facial features and tape them together on another piece of paper of what the baby will look like!

I got the Tummy Tape game from Party City. Each guest cuts an amount they think will be how big the mother's stomach is, we measure, and whoever comes the closest wins!

During the A-Z Baby Name Game, we would go around in a circle naming boy names starting with the letter A all the way to Z with a rational amount of time to think. (U and Y are the hardest)!

The Name Scramble was simple. I just wrote the mom's name and the dad's name in all capital letters and cut each letter out. The guests had to see what names they could come up with, out of these letters. The most creative name wins!

Now for the Scratch and Wins. I went to the Dollar Tree and bought little gifts like screw drivers,
hangers, cute little boxes, etc. I wrote the gift on a piece of white paper, then colored white crayon over it and painted over that with acrylic paint. It actually scratches off well!

Also, the baby came on Saturday and Easton is adorable!

I made him this little hat!
